Auto Pay
Never worry about missing a payment again. When you choose Auto Pay, the full amount of your bill is deducted from the checking or savings account of your choice.
To register for this program you'll need to complete a brief application form and submit a voided check for the account you would like your payment debited from. Beginning the month following REC's receipt of the completed form, your payment will be deducted automatically from your checking or savings account on the due date shown on your bill. You will receive a statement each month showing your electric usage, and the deduction will appear on your bank statement.
To get started now, download this Auto Pay application form. (Right click and select "save as" to download it to your computer). Once completed, please mail the form and a voided check to Rock Energy cooperative, P.O. Box 1758, Janesville, WI, 53547 or fax it along with the voided check to (608) 752-6620.

Budget Billing
Level out your payments when you choose our Budget Billing program. We'll bill you the same amount each month (adjusted twice per year). You can then pay by traditional means or sign up for the Auto Pay program to fully automate your payments.
To qualify for Budget Billing, you must be an active member (have service through us) for at least six months with a good credit standing and have at least one year of history. We will review your account and determine your initial budget billing amount. Once established, your bill amount will remain constant until our next account recalculation date. We recalculate budget bills in April and October of each year to make sure they continue to accurately reflect your usage. Here's more information on the Budget Billing twice annual recalculation and how you may be affected.
If you would like to register for this service please call us at 608-752-4550 or 866-752-4550 during normal business hours.
Please call our office at 1-866-752-4550 during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and speak with a member service representative. Or fill out a request through our CONTACT US form
eBill (credit card) payment program
Sign up for our eBill payment program and you can choose when to pay and how much to pay using the credit card of your choice. You can also sign up to view your bills online with this program (at no charge).
To qualify for the eBill program, you must be an active member (have service through us) for at least six months with a good credit standing. You must also have a zero account balance at the time of registration. Registration and payments are handled through a secured server connection on our payment processor's (NISC) website. You can reach that site through the "Make an eBill payment" link under "quick contact links", or by clicking here.
PLEASE NOTE: Our payment processor does charge a $3.95 fee for each eBill transaction. Rock Energy Cooperative does not set this fee, or receive any portion of it.
Once you submit a payment via eBill it cannot be reversed.

Direct Debit from a checking or savings account
Many of today's banks offer you the ability to make payments online directly from your checking or savings account. Some may allow you to schedule payments ahead of time as well as make an immediate withdrawal from your account. REC is able to accept immediate or prescheduled direct debits and electronic check payments, but we are not currently able to offer a way to initiate a direct debit payment from our site. Please check with your financial institution to find out more about their online payment programs.

Online Bill presentment is part of the eBill program
Rock Energy Cooperative also offers online bill presentment in addition
to regular postal mail billing. You can sign up for online bill presentment at the same time that you register for the eBill program. Registration for the program does not obligate you in any way to pay through the eBill credit card option. You can sign up simply to be able to view your bill online.
While this has proved a handy management tool for many members, online bill presentment cannot fully replace all postal mailings from the co-op. There are some notices we are still required to send by postal mail.
